We are accepting applications for experienced Auto Body Technicians at our Lombard Body shop located at 750 Monroe Way Placentia, CA, 92870
Technicians are expected to work as a team with responsibilities to include:
Heavy collision, Structural/Frame experience required. ICAR and ASE certifications- a plus. Candidates must own tools, have valid driver's license and be eligible to work in the US.
Other Responsibilities responsibilities to include:
Disassemble damaged areas and label reusable components
Repair or replace damaged areas and components
Interact with the damage analysis team in the event that previously unidentified damage is identified
Quality reassembly of repaired vehicle
Conduct quality repair audit for fit, finish and accuracy in preparation for delivery to our customer

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Certificate from Vocational School in Collision, a plus
Valid drivers license
3+ yrs in the auto body industry experience in a senior operation position
I-Car Gold status
ASE Certifications in auto body repair, painting and estimating, a plus
Own tools
Dependable
Professional appearance
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills a plus
Attention to detail
Ability to manage time wisely and good organizational skills
Follow direction, process, policy and procedures
Desire to work in a team based environment
Ability to:
use of all basic and complex compressed air and electric powered hand held and shop floor tools/equipment
understand and use a touch screen" personal computer station
understand and maintain the need for a safe, clean, organized workspace and general work environment
diagnose problems and repairs as needed to OEM specifications
lead team efforts and mentor less experienced personnel
Full knowledge of:
automobile components and their operation
structural diagnostic and repair skills
the industry standard concepts, applications and techniques as applied to automobile structure, as well as the measuring repair equipment used in the industry
industry manufacturers and suppliers recommended repair procedures
the latest technology associated with auto body repair technique,
equipment and compounds
Advanced certified welding skill sets and techniques
Candidates be eligible to work in the US.
